Comfortway Tourism – Terms & Conditions


1. General


1.1 Definitions

  • Client: The person(s) in whose name or on whose behalf the booking is made.
  • Comfortway Tourism: The travel service provider offering tour packages and related services.
  • Independent Contractors: Hotels, airlines, transport providers, or any third-party service
  • providers engaged for the tour.
  • Domestic Tour: Tours conducted within India.
  • International Tour: Tours conducted outside India.
  • Tour Cost: Total cost of services booked by the client.


2. Booking Policy

  • A minimum 30% advance payment is required to confirm booking.
  • Remaining balance must be paid 14 days before travel.
  • Failure to pay full amount within the time may lead to automatic cancellation without
  • refund.
  • Once full payment is received, prices are fixed and non-changeable.


3. Cancellation Policy

  • All cancellations must be made via written email or message.
  • Cancellation Time Charges
  • 30+ days before travel 10% or booking amount
  • 29–16 days before 25% of tour cost
  • 15–8 days before 50% of tour cost
  • 7 days or less 100% of tour cost
  • Hotel/vendor cancellation policies may also apply.


4. Refund Policy

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 30 working days.
  • No interest will be paid on refunds.
  • No refund for unused services (hotel, meals, transport, sightseeing, etc.).
  • Delays due to third-party or external factors are not the company’s responsibility.


5. Insurance

Travel insurance is not included in the package. Clients are advised to arrange it independently.

6. Hotel Policy

  • Hotels may be changed to similar category due to availability.
  • Standard check-in/check-out timing applies.
  • Valid photo ID is mandatory at check-in.
  • Special requests are subject to availability.


7. Vehicle Policy

  • AC may not function properly in hilly areas.
  • Personal belongings are the client’s responsibility.
  • Any damage caused to vehicle will be charged to the client.
  • Delays caused by clients may lead to missed sightseeing without refund.


8. Child Policy

  • Above 5 years: Full charge (Adult rate)
  • Below 5 years: Free (No extra bed)


9. Liability
Comfortway Tourism is not liable for:

  • Accidents, illness, injury, loss, or delays
  • Acts of third-party service providers
  • Loss of baggage or valuables
  • Flight cancellations, delays, or overbooking
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, strikes, etc.)

Any additional cost due to unforeseen situations must be borne by the client.

10. Itinerary Changes

  • Itinerary may change due to weather, road, or operational issues.
  • Clients will be informed whenever possible.
  • No refund for missed activities due to client delays.
  • Any customization requested by client may incur extra charges.


11. Law & Jurisdiction
All disputes are subject to Kolkata jurisdiction only.
